Photo Friday: Lassen National Park

Every year, eight of my very best friends (5 couples total) get together for a weekend camping trip. Since half of the group lives in Northern California, and other other four live in SoCal we usually find a place in the middle. However, this particular year (2007) we voted to make the extra trip up to Lassen (about three hours north of Sacramento). And, let me just say...it was totally worth the drive.
This was what we woke up too. It was completely peaceful and serene. We have fun catching up, drinking beer, and trying our hardest to love sleeping on the hard ground.

We always plan our Saturday to do a major hike. So, of course we did the infamous Mt. Lassen.
