“Yes, I need her in the daytime; Yes I need her in the night; Yes I want to throw my arms around her; Kiss her hug her kiss her hug her tight”
On her one week birthday
It’s hard to believe that we’ve had our newest member of our growing family for one week. It’s hard to remember what life was like before she arrived and stole everyone’s hearts.
Pretty much the sweetest thing you’ve ever seen
It is hard to remember what it’s like to sleep through the night. It’s hard to remember when my days were filled with grading papers, editing essays, and commuting. Now my days are filled with poopy diapers, newborn snuggles, library story time, alphabet puzzles, and hour long nursing sessions.
Sisterly Love
Basically, I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

I remember the hour long nursing sessions. And I remember all my friends who had older babies saying it was taking too long. Nope it just takes that long!!!
I agree with Lara!! I felt like I was always nursing! I remember thinking with Holden, "How am I ever going to get anything done!?" but you do. She is beautiful! I cancelled Facebook for a little while so that I had one less distraction SO...what is her name and how big?!
Jenn - I agree, Facebook is such a distraction. Name: Alicia Jayne, born 1/30 @ 5:41am and she was 8lb 8oz, 21 inches long.
Oh! I love her name! Big girl! Such a blessing! It is so much fun having too...hard and exhausting but so worth it. It took us four months to adjust but now the boys are best friends and the best part is now Holden has a playmate that isn't me!
